• Monday through Friday

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Day Porter to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment throughout the day. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, respond promptly to the needs of school staff, and work independently while maintaining high cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of  hallways, restrooms, offices, cafeterias, and common areas throughout the day.

• Clean and disinfect restrooms as needed.

• Empty trash and replace trash liners.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot clean floors.

• Clean windows, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.

• Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies promptly.

• Restock restroom and custodial supplies.

• Assist with setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and equipment for school events.

• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.

• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

• Work closely with the school staff, manager, and cleaning team to ensure the facility remains clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

• Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be dependable, punctual, and organized.

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
