Job DetailsJob Location: PHILADELPHIA - PHILADELPHIA, PA 19106Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 Salary/yearUrban Engineers is seeking a seasoned Project Manager or senior-level Civil Engineer to lead aviation infrastructure projects and help shape the future of our Aviation Department. This role blends technical leadership, client engagement, and project delivery – ideal for an experienced engineer ready to guide teams and manage high-impact projects.  Responsibilities Manage all phases of airfield and landside civil design projects (scope, schedule, budget, and quality). Oversee design of runways, taxiways, aprons, utilities, stormwater systems, and associated infrastructure. Serve as primary client point of contact for airports and partner firms. Lead and mentor engineering teams, including assigning tasks and reviewing deliverables. Develop proposals, manage subconsultants, and lead progress meetings. Ensure compliance with FAA, DOT, and state regulations. Support business development efforts and proposal pursuits across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.  Requirements: Required: Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited Program 8–15 years of professional experience in project management and civil/site design (aviation, roadway, transportation preferred). Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Professional Engineering (PE) license required. Prior experience managing airport or transportation projects preferred.
