Position Summary

The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations and ensuring an exceptional, refined dining experience for every guest. This role requires a leader with fine dining service experience, a strong background in staff training and development, and a deep understanding of hospitality standards. Hotel or luxury hospitality experience is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise front-of-house service staff, ensuring consistent execution of fine dining service standards
     
  • Deliver and maintain an elevated guest experience, anticipating needs and resolving concerns with professionalism and discretion
     
  • Design, implement, and conduct ongoing service training programs, including onboarding, service standards, and guest engagement
     
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of menu offerings, wine and beverage programs, and service sequences
     
  • Collaborate closely with Executive Chef, Sommelier, and Management team to ensure seamless service operations
     
  • Oversee reservations, floor plans, pacing, and staffing levels to optimize guest flow and service quality
     
  • Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
     
  • Model exemplary hospitality, appearance, and service etiquette at all times
     
  • Assist with performance evaluations, scheduling, and team development
     
  • Support special events, private dining, and VIP guest experiences

Requirements

 Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of high-level service experience  
  • Proven experience in training, coaching, and developing service teams  
  • Strong understanding of fine dining service techniques, wine service, and hospitality etiquette  
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment  
  • Hotel or luxury resort dining experience is a plus  
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills  
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment  
  • Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and guest satisfaction  

Physical & Schedule Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods  
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
