Overview

The Delivery Practice Coach (DPC) partners with cross-functional teams to strengthen modern delivery practices, improve execution, and accelerate value delivery across engineering organizations. This role focuses on embedding scalable delivery frameworks and engineering disciplines that enable teams to work more effectively, predictably, and collaboratively. Acting as both a coach and change agent, the DPC works closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to modernize ways of working, reinforce accountability, and drive continuous improvement aligned with enterprise objectives. The role is hybrid. Remote Monday and Friday, onsite Tuesday through Thursday. Locations in Malvern, Charlotte and Dallas. All qualified candidates must be fully authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

 

Drive Team-Level Transformation

  • Embed modern delivery frameworks such as Agile, flow-based delivery models, and DevOps-aligned practices, with an emphasis on AI-assisted engineering practices
  • Improve planning, execution, and delivery predictability across teams
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and enable more efficient delivery pipelines
  • Drive measurable improvements in cycle time, throughput, and product quality

Coach Modern Engineering Practices

  • Guide teams in evolving and adopting modern delivery practices and engineering standards
  • Provide hands-on coaching to engineering and product teams
  • Facilitate retrospectives and structured improvement cycles to support ongoing team growth

Foster Continuous Improvement

  • Promote a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation
  • Encourage data-driven decision making through metrics and delivery insights
  • Support adoption of metrics-driven performance management
  • Reinforce psychological safety, accountability, and collaborative team environments

Align Delivery Practices with Organizational Goals

  • Ensure delivery practices align with enterprise standards and governance frameworks
  • Support adoption of engineering best practices and operational policies
  • Partner with leadership to maintain consistency in delivery approaches across teams

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Success in this role will be measured through improvements in:

  • Reduction in cycle time
  • Improvement in release predictability
  • Increased deployment frequency
  • Higher team engagement scores
  • Reduction in defect rates

Qualifications

  • Experience working as a technical lead or senior engineer in software development environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relatable field
  • Strong understanding of modern software development and engineering frameworks
  • Experience operating within Agile development environments
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern engineering workflows
  • Working knowledge of Claude and GitHub is a plus
  • 3–8 years of relevant experience
