Job Details
- Registered Sonographer
- Current ARDMS
- Dual certified in vascular or has vascular experience
- BLS
- Graduated from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Call is required
Day to Day includes but is not limited to:
- Utilize color-flow duplex ultrasound to produce ultrasound images and related data.
- Set up, operate, maintain and clean equipment
- Frequently move and adjust testing equipment to optimize results
- Prepare patient for examination including but not limited to:
- explain the examination
- have patient change clothing
- adjust examination table
- Perform diagnostic cardiac procedures by producing, assessing and evaluating ultrasound images and related data.
- Determine priority for requested impatient and/or outpatient studies and revise schedules as needed
