Position Summary

Pacific Tech Communications Inc. (PTC) is seeking an experienced and travel-ready Telecom Aerial Construction Supervisor to lead aerial fiber construction projects across multiple East Coast markets. This role is responsible for supervising day-to-day field operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to client specifications.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in aerial telecom construction, crew leadership, and multi-site project coordination, with the ability to travel extensively and serve as a reliable field leader across active markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day aerial construction operations across multiple project locations
  • Supervise and coordinate internal field crews and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient production
  • Oversee project schedules, material needs, and work progress to meet client deadlines
  • Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with construction standards and specifications
  • Review and interpret project plans, permits, prints, and as-built documentation
  • Communicate directly with clients, inspectors, municipalities, and internal leadership
  • Track daily production, project costs, field issues, and change orders
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, client, and company safety requirements
  • Assist with onboarding, field training, and development of new personnel
  • Travel extensively to active project sites throughout assigned markets as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in telecom aerial construction supervision or a related leadership role
  • Strong background in aerial fiber construction and OSP telecom environments
  • Experience managing crews, subcontractors, schedules, and production in the field
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, permits, construction drawings, and as-builts
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of safety compliance, quality standards, and field documentation
  • Ability to travel frequently and work across multiple states/projects
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing aerial construction in multiple markets or states
  • Knowledge of utility pole attachments, make-ready, strand, lash, and fiber placement
  • Experience working with municipalities, inspectors, and utility partners
  • CDL preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and field conditions
  • Ability to walk active job sites over uneven terrain
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Ability to work extended hours based on project demands
  • Ability to travel extensively and stay overnight near project sites as required
