What you get to do:Â
Reports directly to Product Activation ManagerÂ
Responsible for monitoring the entire Merchandise department and responding to calls during Manager on Duty shiftsÂ
Responsible for maintainingaccurate inventory in all Merchandise locationsÂ
Work withtheMerchandise Admin and location teams to execute accurate in-park and warehouse cycle countsÂ
Work with Managers and Park Support team to track new product arrivals and re-orders to ensure timely product release or replenishmentÂ
Parter with the Product Activation Manager and location teams to execute location refreshes throughout the yearÂ
Assist with updating all replenishment information before and after location refreshes Â
Assist the Product Activation Manager with the generation and upkeep of location visual guidesÂ
Partner with the Product Activation Manager and location teams to keep shop window displays updatedÂ
Responsible for maintaining fixture/merchandiser storage area, and alerting Product Activation Manager of any merchandising needs (new or replacement)Â
Work with Park Support to ensure all product pricing is correct, and with the local Warehouseand park teams for any re-pricing needsÂ
Assist the Product Activation Manager with price sign creation, distribution, and upkeepÂ
ise Department’s Annual Physical Inventory both in-park and at the Warehouse locationÂ
pre-inventory prep work and post-inventory reconciliationÂ
Assist other departments with product needs such as items for giveaways, incentives, guest recovery, etc.Â
Responsible for all End of Month reporting, and yearly IM&RÂ
Assist the Admin team with Mail Order guests and transactionsÂ
Assist in all Pin Trading preparations and refreshes (pin lanyards, trading boards, Pin Event prep)Â
Assist the Merchandise Leadership team in all department supervisory capacitiesincluding department duty manager responsibilitiesÂ
Oversee the performance of all department team members and leadership while on dutyÂ
Manage daily department labor to accommodate changing business needs, daily break rotations and daily staffing assignmentsÂ
Resolve all Guest Service matters for the department in a professional and timely mannerÂ
Provide exemplary service and ensure Merchandise Standards are met consistentlyÂ
Responsible for the training and counseling of team members, assistant supervisors and supervisors while ensuring and complying with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standardsÂ
Ensure compliance of Labor Laws with regards to breaks and hours worked per dayÂ
Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of team member engagement, while supporting and demonstrating exemplary guest serviceÂ
Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) lifting and reporting unsafe situationsÂ
Support and demonstrate the SEASÂ

What it takes to succeed:Â
At least three years of theme park merchandise leadership experience with no significant performance deficiencies within that period.Â
High School Diploma RequiredÂ
Availability that meets the business needs of the position; including ability to work a flexible schedule, to include nights, weekends, and holidaysÂ
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment; must be able to work independentlyÂ
Possession of a high level of problem-solving, analytical, verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Possession of a knowledge of computer programs and databases including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required; Knowledge of MMS preferredÂ
Ability to push/pull/lift/carry 50 lbs or more on an occasional basis; frequent extensive walking, standing, occasional climbing; work environment varies from indoors in air-conditioned space to outdoor work in all weather conditions (i.e. heat, humidity, rain and cold)Â
Willingness to comply with all grooming standards and SEA employment standardsÂ
Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelinesÂ
Willingness to comply and ensure all team members comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standardsÂ
