The position involves providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities include implementing care plans, measuring vital signs, performing ECGs, and assisting with daily living activities.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and successful completion of a Nurses Aide or Medical Assistant Training program is required.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related patient care role is preferred for applicants.
The salary for this position is competitive, and a Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.

Provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the registered nurse. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental health and social needs; comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid needs; and elimination needs. Measures vitals signs, performs ECGs, venipuncture, IV placement, capillary blood glucose testing, and Unit Secretary, Patient Transport and Environment of Care duties.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Other Successful completion of Nurses Aide or Medical Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation program, EMT training program or Nursing student with satisfactory completion of Nursing 101 clinical or equivalent clinical rotation Required

Experience
1 year experience in a related patient care role Preferred

Licenses
Basic Life Support Required
