Some ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
- Design a daily and weekly schedule
- Take daily attendanceÂ
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
- Provide a safe, fun, yet structured environmentÂ
- Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
- Strong understanding of child development
- Patient, kind, and nurturing
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- First aid/CPR certifiedÂ
- All current clearances and certifications required to work in childcareÂ
