Center Director - Head Start Program

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Center Director to lead our Head Start program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and comprehensive services to children and families in our community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Head Start center, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and goals aligned with Head Start standards
  • Lead, supervise, and support staff, including teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff
  • Foster strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders to promote family engagement and community involvement

  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, ensuring continuous improvement and quality assurance
  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children and staff

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Master’s degree or Director's Credential
