Holy Family University is a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth founded in 1954. The University is a private institution in the Catholic tradition with campus locations in Philadelphia and Newtown PA. Position SummaryÂ
The School of Business and Technology at Holy Family University is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor(s) to teach the following courses for the Fall 2026 semester (8/31/2026 – 12/21/2026) at Holy Family University’s Northeast campus. The courses are as follows:
CMIS 211: Internet Programming: Tuesdays & Thursdays – 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
CMIS 220: Management Information Systems: Tuesdays & Thursdays – 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
The ideal candidate will have a strong computer science background, demonstrated expertise in computer technology, and a passion for engaging and inspiring students.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Maintain academic excellence in the classroom.Â
- Conduct face to face classroom instruction following the University’s academic standards and guidelines.
- Facilitate active learning experiences and practical exercises to enhance student comprehension and application of technology concepts.
- Provide grades and feedback to students in a timely manner.
- Respond to email correspondence from Deans, Coordinators, and students in a timely manner.
- Use the Learning Management System (CANVAS) appropriately for all classes.
- Utilize advising software (CRM Advise) to identify student issues and alert support offices within the university in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree is required, Doctoral degree preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or closely related field is requiredÂ
- Prior teaching experience at a college or university is preferred.Â
- Ability to use a learning management system (Canvas) is a plus.Â
- Other preferred attributes include a commitment to teaching a diverse student population, working collegially with peers, strong communication skills, responsiveness to students, ability to meet deadlines for grading and providing student feedback.Â
