Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, a premier academic health center in Philadelphia, is seeking a Per Diem Neurosurgeon to join our distinguished Neurosurgery team. This position is based at our Walnut Street campus and offers a unique opportunity for skilled neurosurgeons seeking flexible scheduling and diverse clinical exposure. Provide high-level neurosurgical care on a per diem basis across inpatient and outpatient settings. Participate in rotational call coverage at Jefferson Neurosciences Network (JNE) hospitals. Fulfill moonlighting shifts as assigned to meet patient care needs and department demands. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurocritical care, trauma, and spinal services. Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards. Qualifications include M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification/Eligibility in Neurosurgery, active or eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure, prior experience in academic or high-volume clinical neurosurgery preferred, ability to work independently and adapt to multiple care environments, and willingness to participate in off-hours and weekend call coverage as part of a team-based approach.
