Part-Time Therapist/Case Manager
Position Title: Therapist/Case Manager – Student Counseling Center (PT)

Classification: Part-Time, Exempt, 20-25 hrs/wk
Position Summary
The Counseling Center at Chestnut Hill College is seeking a Part-Time Therapist/Case Manager to provide psychotherapy and case management services to students in the School of Undergraduate Studies, School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and Graduate School within a diverse and inclusive campus community.
This dual-role position supports students' mental health, well-being, and academic success through integrated clinical services, advocacy, resource coordination, and assistance navigating personal, academic, financial, and socioeconomic challenges.

Work Environment
This position is based in the Chestnut Hill College Counseling Center and involves regular interaction with students, faculty, staff, College departments, and community partners. Services may be provided both in person and virtually based on student and departmental needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Services
- Provide weekly individual psychotherapy, assessment, and clinically appropriate referrals to community mental health resources.
- Provide consultation to faculty, staff, and administrators as appropriate.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using Titanium and participate in clinical supervision.
- Apply trauma-informed, student-centered, and social-emotional learning practices in the delivery of services.
Case Management & Advocacy
- Provide case management and advocacy for students experiencing housing and food insecurity, healthcare or health insurance needs, financial challenges, childcare or parental responsibilities, legal concerns, and other barriers to academic and personal success.
- Assist students in navigating academic, financial, career, personal, and social challenges.
- Maintain knowledge of available College, local, and national resources and assist students with accessing and applying for appropriate services.
- Create a supportive and welcoming environment that encourages students to seek assistance and access available resources.
Collaboration & Resource Coordination
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, the Student Success Center, Campus Ministry, Counseling Center, Health Services, other College departments, community organizations, and external providers to identify student needs and coordinate services.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- LCSW, LSW, or master's degree in counseling with a background in social services, human services, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience providing counseling and case management services.
- Experience working with college students and diverse or underserved populations preferred.
- Ability to effectively support neurodivergent students.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and across College and community organizations.
- Action-oriented and solution-focused approach.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and serving students experiencing socioeconomic barriers.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the College’s Mission and Core Values, including a shared dedication to inclusive, mission-driven education that supports the development of the whole person.
