Bensalem, Pennsylvania Intensivist Locum Tenens Opportunity

Rhino Medical is actively seeking a Board-Certified Intensivist for a locum tenens opportunity in Bensalem, PA. This low-acuity assignment offers a laid-back patient population with post-surgical medical management and no ICU involvement.

Opportunity Details:

• Location: Bensalem, Pennsylvania
• Contract Type: Intensivist Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
• Shift Schedule:
  • Thursday 12 PM – Friday 7 AM (19-hour shift) weekly
  • No ICU involvement
  • No ER coverage required

Facility Details:

• Hospital Beds: 26 post-surgical beds
• Patient Census:
  • Days: 15-20 patients
  • Nights: 20 patients
• Open/Closed ICU: No ICU involvement
• Vent Management: None
• Procedures Required: None
• Codes/RRT: None
• Subspecialty Backup: N/A (Anesthesia backup available if needed)
• Emergency Transfers: If a patient becomes critical, they are transferred
• Surgical Cases: Elective orthopedic surgeries (hip/knee replacements)
• Pain Management Required: Yes
• EMR System: Meditech

Provider Requirements:

• Board Certification: Critical Care - Internal Medicine or Surgical Medicine
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania Medical License & Unrestricted DEA
• Experience: Post-surgical patient management preferred
