Position Overview The Maintenance Support will assist with the overall upkeep, safety, and functionality of the property by completing routine maintenance tasks, responding to work orders, and assisting with preventative maintenance. This role is essential to ensuring a seamless guest experience and a wellmaintained environment for both residents and staff. Weekend availability is required. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and repair needs promptly to the appropriate manager. 
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, including: 
  • Changing light bulbs, batteries, and small components 
  • Minor touchup repairs (paint, patching, hardware adjustments) 
  • Unclogging drains and addressing simple plumbing issues 
  • Furniture assembly, relocation, and light moving tasks 
  • Assisting with simple work orders and preventative maintenance routines 
  • Support the team with general property upkeep, cleanliness, and organization of maintenance areas. 
  • Complete assigned work orders in a timely, professional, and guestfriendly manner. 
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition. 
  • Collaborate with the property team to ensure all building systems operate safely and efficiently. 
  • Uphold company standards for hospitality, communication, and professionalism in all guest and staff interactions. 

Qualifications 

  • Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred. 
  • Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques. 
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry items as needed for repairs and furniture tasks. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. 
  • Reliable, selfmotivated, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. 
  • Must have weekend availability.

Working Conditions/Environment: 

  • The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
  • Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
  • The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
