The Senior Grants Management Specialist provides customer-focused support to investigators and serves as the main contact between them, external funding agencies, and ICR.
This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations regarding sponsored and non-sponsored research.
The specialist manages all aspects of grants and agreements for the research community while assisting faculty with budget management.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, or a combination of relevant education and experience in lieu of a degree.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Post-Award Research Administration is required, with a salary of $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience.

The Senior Grants Management Specialist is responsible for providing customer-focused support to investigators. Serve as the principal administrative resource and contact between investigators, external funding agencies and ICR, and acts as an information consultant for researchers in the ICR. Ensure institutional compliance with federal, state, agency and other applicable governing regulations, policies and procedures concerning sponsored and non-sponsored research. Manages and administers all aspects of grants and agreements for research- based community. The Sr. Grants Mgmt. Specialist helps faculty manage their budget and provides guidance on navigating a variety of administrative areas that are necessary to support lab operations. Overarching goal is to provide support to research faculty so that they focus on research.

Education
