Sonic Summary

The position involves assisting the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing support staff.
Candidates are expected to incorporate the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities.
The role is accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities conducted.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or being a current nursing student who has completed at least one clinical rotation.
Preferred qualifications include 1 year of experience in a Nursing Assistant role, with a salary that is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education

Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current
Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required

Experience
1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses
Basic Life Support Required
Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
