Sonic Summary

The position assists the RN by performing delegated patient care activities and specific functions for which the individual has been prepared.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and complete a Nursing Assistant Program or be a current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Nursing Assistant role is preferred for applicants.
Basic Life Support certification is required, while being a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
