The position involves providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities include implementing care plans based on patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, as well as performing vital sign measurements and ECGs.
Candidates are required to have at least 1 year of experience in a patient care role and a high school diploma or equivalent.
The role offers a salary of $35,000 to $45,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Applicants must also have BLS certification, with CMA or CNA certifications preferred.

Provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care based on physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs. Provides comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living: personal care needs, nutritional and elimination needs. Measures vital signs, performs ECGs, and capillary blood glucose needs. Observes and reports the functioning of equipment, the results of treatments, condition of dressings and any change in patient condition. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities (i.e. confidentiality, responsiveness, caring). Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities. Adheres to policies and procedures of the department. If certification is not present at hire employee must successfully complete the onsite nursing certification program within 90 days of hire.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Other : Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Program or completion of at least one clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing program (Preferred)

Experience
1 Year experience in a patient care role (Preferred)

License/Certifications
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
CMA - Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
