Job Characteristics: This position will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring timely and correct results Problem solving and decision making will be required on a regular basis in area of expertise Cross functionality in knowledge of machining, cutting and product development will be needed   Job Responsibilities: Focus on Continuous Improvement in area of responsibility Prepare and maintain machining equipment in a production environment Monitor rates, feeds, speeds and make improvements to optimize processing Reduce scrap Train lower skilled machining operators Use logic to problem solve and make decisions in area of responsibility on a regular basis Monitor machining equipment maintenance and safety Work with engineering to develop fixtures and processes for new products Other tasks as assigned by the manager Qualifications Requirements: Technical Certification in related field 3-5 Years Manufacturing with experience in operation of precision machining equipment for the production of manufacturing parts Associate degree a plus
