As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing construction equipment while delivering outstanding support to our customers throughout the region. Benefits $2,000 Signing Bonus Paid Sick Leave Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Company-paid medical insurance for employees and their families (100% premium coverage) Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) and Roth 401(k) with Company Match Quarterly and Annual Bonus Programs Company Stock awarded to employees with 5+ years of service Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment in the field and at customer job sites Travel to various customer locations throughout the assigned territory Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble equipment components Follow manufacturer specifications and service manual procedures Identify parts requiring repair or replacement and coordinate parts ordering Utilize diagnostic and testing equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Prepare warranty recommendations and documentation Perform minor welding, fabrication, plumbing, alignment, and DC electrical repairs Support and guide junior technicians during equipment repairs Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Complete service reports and documentation in English Process warranty and customer work orders Obtain customer purchase orders and manage service job paperwork Open and close work orders accurately and efficiently Respond to service calls and communicate job status, progress, and issues with customers Assist with special projects as assigned Qualifications Required Skills & Experience Valid Class A CDL required Experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications is a plus Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, copiers, and scanners Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Strong commitment to safety and customer service Additional Responsibilities Assist the Service Manager with departmental projects and tasks Maintain a clean and professional service truck and workspace Physical Requirements & Work Environment This position requires regular physical activity and the ability to work in both shop and field environments.
