Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Senior Copywriter you lead all written content and provides strategic direction and support for both internal and external communications on behalf of the Barrow Neurological Foundation.

Every day you are responsible for effectively communicating organizational messaging to ensure a consistent voice across all written mediums.

To be successful in this role, you must emphasize a high-level of collaboration with Barrow physicians, researchers and clinicians, Foundation and committee leadership, as well as patients and donors.
- Oversee all aspects of media relations, including proactive outreach, response to inquiries, and crisis communication management.
- Manage and oversee third-party editorial vendors, ensuring high-quality content production and adherence to brand guidelines and deadlines.
- Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as direct mail, website, email marketing, case statements, proposals, magazine, product descriptions, donor reports and videos
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive internal and external communication strategies to align with organizational goals and enhance brand reputation.
- Provide strategic support and assistance with executive communications, including drafting speeches, presentations, and key messaging.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with BNF team members, to ensure clarity and surpass expectations

Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors degree in related field such as Arts, Literature, English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing and Minimum of Five (5) years prior experience as a copywriter
Preferred
- Experience with reading and editing HTML/CSS/JavaScript
