As the Account Manager for an assigned book of business, use appropriate judgment and decision-making skills to provide service for customer accounts and transactions, in support of the production and retention of the business. The Account Manager is responsible for building, expanding, and solidifying relationships with clients at all levels within the company and leading appropriate resources to address the client’s needs, including risk identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues, accounting issues, claims issues, etc.   Â

How You Will Contribute: Â
- Working on CISR or CRIS Designation Program Â
- Summary of insuranceÂ
- Insurance Coverage Review – Prepare with a summary & give to the producer for completion with the insuredÂ
- Obtain exposure and operation updates from the client or producerÂ
- Get renewal applications and copies or prior applicationsÂ
- Order current loss runs, and other documents needed in the renewal/marketing process.Â
- Submit to the marketing department with all required information Â
- Make sure the Insurance Coverage Review is completed, returned and sent to the insured with an approved letter/email.Â
- Bind coverage with the carrier(s) in accordance with the client’s instructionsÂ
- Issue binders, auto id cards and order renewal certificates of insuranceÂ
- Get Signed forms – including applications, non-admitted, Co. request forms, Supplemental applications etc.Â
- Provide services or coordinate carrier services as neededÂ
- Other duties as assigned.Â
Licenses and Certifications:Â Â
- Property Casualty LicensedÂ
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:Â
- High school diploma or equivalentÂ
- Associate's or bachelor’s degree in a business or finance-related discipline preferredÂ
- 3-5 years of insurance experience preferredÂ
- Proficient with MS Office SuiteÂ
- Exceptional telephone demeanorÂ
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentialityÂ
