Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team at LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. in Arizona. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level accounting professional seeking continued growth and development within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As an Accountant II, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and perform analysis based on financial results.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries
• Support preparation of tax filings and other regulatory compliance reports
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support
• Analyze financial data and generate reports for management as needed
• Assist in design and operating effectiveness testing of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Communicate with headquarters to fulfill reporting requirements and provide requested information
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the accounting and finance team
• Maintain cleanliness at the worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
  • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
  • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

Experience:

• 3–5+ years of professional accounting experience
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with SAP preferred

Skills:

• Bilingual English/Korean preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Sound judgment and decision-making ability
• Strong problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
