About The Role: 

This is an in-office position located at 3840 East Ray Road, Phoenix, AZ. This entry-level role supports the daily operations of the accounting department, with a focus on disbursement review, invoice processing, assist with month-end closing tasks, including basic reconciliation and data review. As well as legal accounting administrative support while gaining knowledge and experience in the legal field. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a foundation in accounting while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Review daily disbursements for accuracy and completeness 
  • Enter and process checks for invoices in a timely manner 
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks, including basic reconciliation and data review 
  • Help create and maintain procedures and internal documentation 
  • Update and organize files and resources in SharePoint 
  • Process daily checks as needed, including preparation and distribution 
  • Assist with depositing checks 
  • Provide general support to the accounting team and legal team 
  • Assist with ongoing and long-term projects

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Worked as an administrative assistant, admin support staff or administrator in a fast-paced setting
  • Delivers exceptional customer service 
  • Consistently completes repetitive tasks with minimal errors 
  • Exhibits strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Works well in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude 
  • Consistently manages responsibilities with efficiency and attention to deadlines 
  • Independent problem-solving 
  • Follows instructions effectively and maintains clear, respectful communication with team members 
  • Upholds a regular working schedule 
  • Adapts to change and proactively takes on new responsibilities as needed 
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and willingness to learn 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to follow instructions and manage routine tasks 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; BA in accounting or related field preferred. 

Work Environment & Expectations 

  • Hours: Full-time position, with occasional extended hours as needed. 
  • Setting: In-office role. 
  • Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary with minimal physical activity.
