Key Responsibilities
- Create and update 2D and 3D engineering drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD based on project requirements and design markups.
- Support the development of design layouts, drawing packages, and other project documentation.
- Learn and apply established BIM standards and workflows, including model organization, file management, and version control.
- Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings while collaborating with engineering, construction, and other project teams.
- Support QA/QC processes by reviewing drawings, tracking revisions, and helping identify inconsistencies across models and design documentation.
- Maintain accurate and organized project files and prepare documentation for internal review and project submission.
- Develop an understanding of design coordination, constructability, and building systems through hands-on project experience.
- Build technical and professional skills through mentorship, peer feedback, and collaboration with experienced team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, or professional experience.
- Professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Foundational understanding of engineering design principles, building systems, and/or construction workflows.
- Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD, with an interest in developing proficiency in Navisworks and other BIM coordination tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and design documentation with guidance.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn in a collaborative project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, academic, or hands-on experience in engineering design, BIM modeling, construction, or mechanical/plumbing systems.
- Exposure to BIM coordination, clash detection, or Navisworks.
- Familiarity with building codes, industry standards, or international design standards.
- Experience working or collaborating in a multidisciplinary or multicultural environment.
