As Branch Manager at United Rentals with our Fluid Solutions Division, you'll be the leader of a major business enterprise. What you'll do:

  • Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability

  • Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives

  • Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets and other reports detailing operational status

  • Manage personnel matters

  • Oversee all safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations and drug and alcohol testing

  • Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other individual profit center

  • An understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation

  • Strong sales and customer service experience required, outside sales experience preferred

  • Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills

  • Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

  • Superviser les efforts de ventes et les initiatives commerciales

  • RĂ©diger et prĂ©senter des rapports, y compris des Ă©tats des rĂ©sultats, des Ă©valuations mensuelles des procĂ©dĂ©s, des budgets annuels et d’autres rapports dĂ©taillant la situation opĂ©rationnelle

  • GĂ©rer les questions de votre Ă©quipe.

  • Superviser toutes les questions relatives Ă  la sĂ©curitĂ©, dont les audits, les formations de sĂ©curitĂ©, la conformitĂ© avec les règles en vigueur, les règlements du transport et les tests de dĂ©pistage de drogue ou d’alcool

  • RĂ©aliser les autres tâches demandĂ©es en fonction des besoins.

Exigences du poste:

  • Un baccalaurĂ©at est un atout

  • Au moins cinq ans d’expĂ©rience concluante en gestion d’entreprise avec responsabilitĂ© des rĂ©sultats dans une succursale ou dans un autre centre de profit individuel

  • Une comprĂ©hension des principes de la comptabilitĂ© commerciale et de la prĂ©paration de budgets

  • Une expĂ©rience solide en vente et en service Ă  la clientèle est requise, de prĂ©fĂ©rence en vente externe.

  • Des aptitudes efficaces en matière de leadership, de motivation, d’organisation et de communication

  • D’excellentes compĂ©tences en informatique et de l’expĂ©rience avec Microsoft Office

  • Des connaissances et de l’expĂ©rience dans le domaine de la location d’équipements sont un atout
