Sunland Asphalt and Construction, LLC. is seeking experienced CDL's (Class A) to join our booming business. CDLs will drive, operate equipment, and provide general labor in these areas: Crack Seal, Sealcoat, Chip Seal, Slurry Seal, Striping.

Essential Duties:
- Operate commercial motor vehicles requiring a valid CDL, including vehicles requiring Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Perform manual labor duties in support of paving and construction operations, including site preparation, asphalt placement, shoveling, raking, cleanup, and traffic control.
- Operate heavy construction and paving equipment, including trucks, pavers, rollers, screeds, paving finishers, curbing machines, and front-end loaders.
- Work safely and efficiently to meet production goals and project schedules.
- Comply with all applicable DOT, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required DVIR documentation.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to address vehicle and equipment repair needs.
- Transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites as required.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current, Class A, CDL license in the state where the majority of work is being performed is required.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year related experience is preferred.
- Tanker endorsement may be required depending on position/dept./division.
- Hazmat endorsement is strongly preferred.
- Must meet FMCSA English proficiency requirements under 49 CFR Ā§391.11(b)(2).
