Certified Nursing Assistant

Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Night Shift

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week (minimum 13-week commitment)

Opening: 1 Night Shift WOC

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the infirmary team in a correctional healthcare setting in Phoenix, AZ. This role is focused on providing patient care within the infirmary unit, ensuring quality and consistency under the supervision of medical and nursing personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within CNA scope of practice under supervision.

• Document patient care in the electronic health record.

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment; record histories, vital signs, and chief complaints.

• Assist with office procedures, tests, and examinations.

• Maintain exam/procedure room supplies.

• Transcribe provider orders and schedule follow-up appointments.

• Perform venipunctures and lab tests.

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current, valid, unrestricted CNA license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or a participating Compact State.

• Completed PSV verification from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing

• Current N95 fit testing certification.

• Current First Aid Certification.

• Minimum 1 year of prior CNA experience.
