Project Manager – Water & Wastewater CIP – City Utility – $100-115/hr – Phoenix
The work: Manage capital improvement and rehabilitation projects involving water/wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, tanks, reservoirs, wells, sewer systems, and related assets.
Responsibilities include planning, design and construction management; project scope and cost estimate development; construction contract procurement and administration; technical review of plans and specifications; consultant/contractor coordination; and working across operations and other departments.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 3+ years of project management experience
- 3+ years of engineering or related experience
Preferred:
- 2+ years managing consultants and contractors on Capital Improvement Projects (CIP)
- Experience with scope development, proposal review, payment applications, permitting, and design/construction drawing review
- Water/wastewater design, plan review, inspection, or construction experience
- Current Arizona PE registration
