Overview

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a full-time Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Phoenix Park 'n Swap in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily clean-up process of the facility. Unit Description

Delaware North Gaming operates Phoenix Park and Swap in Phoenix, Arizona, a fun and safe outdoor destination featuring new and used products, vehicles for sale, and amusement rides. It serves over one million visitors annually. 


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct clean-up team members during and after operations to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently 
  • Oversee cleaning of selling lots, parking areas, bathrooms, and office spaces, ensuring they are ready for daily operations and properly stocked with essentials 
  • Coordinate and supervise clean-up efforts during inclement weather, such as rain or monsoons, ensuring team members are properly scheduled and prepared 
  • Communicate with management regarding clean-up operations, potential hazards, and assist with routine maintenance projects 
  • Conduct employee counseling as needed, create schedules, and actively participate in hands-on clean-up tasks alongside the team 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience doing basic maintenance and plumbing experience 
  • Licensed to operate forklifts; a valid driver’s license required 
  • Ability to operate a sweeper truck  
  • Flexibility with scheduling 
  • Some skill with plumbing, painting, landscaping, and general repair  

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to safely operate gas and electric carts
  • Bending, stooping, and the ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • Standing and walking for the majority of the shift
  • Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
