- Support and maintain on-prem production-grade environments with technologies such as Redis Enterprise, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Astronomer, etc.
- Build, maintain, and optimize infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Manage and support Google Cloud Platform (GCP) foundations and managed services including:
- Private Service Connect (PSC)
- Interconnect
- Pub/Sub
- Cloud Run
- Memory Store
- GCP Networking & security
- Deploy and operate applications in Kubernetes environments (OpenShift or GKE).
- Develop infrastructure automation using Ansible, Shell scripts, Python, or Java.
- Manage cluster configurations, upgrades, and migrations on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 running on VMs.
- Lead and support infrastructure migration projects:
- On-prem to On-prem
- On-prem to Cloud
- Hybrid cloud migrations
- Perform Linux performance monitoring, troubleshooting, security setup, tuning, and patching.
- Improve operational efficiency through automation and optimization scripting.
- Troubleshoot complex cross-platform issues across infrastructure and application layers.
- Utilize industry-standard monitoring tools for observability and incident response.
- Follow ITIL processes including change management, incident management, RFC, problem management, and RCA.
- Continuously learn & adopt new technologies quickly as required for ongoing projects.
- 3+ years supporting enterprise on-prem technologies such as:
- Redis Enterprise
- Kafka
- Elasticsearch
- Astronomer
- 2+ years experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- 2+ years experience managing production environments in Google Cloud (GCP).
- 2+ years deployment experience in Kubernetes (OpenShift or GKE).
- Strong scripting & automation experience with:
- Ansible
- Shell scripting
- Python/Java
- Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL 8) cluster operations, configurations, upgrades, migrations.
- Experience with infrastructure migrations (on-prem ↔ cloud, hybrid).
- Deep experience with Linux performance monitoring, security tuning, and system hardening.
- Knowledge of standard monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, etc.).
- Understanding of ITIL methodologies and processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot at both infrastructure and application levels.
- Quick learner, adaptable to emerging technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
