Job Description:
The College of Health Solutions Academic Success Hub seeks a Curriculum Coordinator to coordinate curriculum administration and academic planning activities that support the college's educational mission. This position manages course proposal processes, maintains curriculum and catalog data, supports academic governance, and coordinates initiatives related to online and global education programs. Working in partnership with faculty, academic leaders, and central university offices, the Curriculum Coordinator helps ensure the timely implementation of curricular changes, the accuracy of academic records, and the effective administration of curriculum-related processes.
This role is ideal for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing complex projects, building relationships across stakeholder groups, and improving academic processes. Successful candidates are organized, adaptable, and motivated by supporting faculty and advancing the development and administration of academic programs in a dynamic higher education environment.
NOTE: This is an in-person, hybrid position. You must be able to reliably commute to Downtown Phoenix, AZ.
Position Salary Range:
$48,600 - $60,000 per year; DOEÂ
Essential Duties:
Curriculum and Course Management
Triages and enters curricular requests including new courses, special topics, course modifications, instruction modes, and General Studies using the Kuali curriculum management system.Â
Participates in review and processing of curricular submissions for new and revised minors, certificates and degree programs.Â
Liaises between academic faculty contacts and university Registrar/Provost regarding comments, concerns and implementation of curricular requests.Â
Maintains curriculum-related records, documentation, and tracking tools to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with university policies and deadlines.
Supports the college curriculum committee by managing timely addition of course proposal agenda items and notetaking during meetings. Solicits general faculty feedback on program and course proposals through the faculty newsletter.Â
Assists with undergraduate transfer course evaluation requests.Â
Catalog, Course and Program Administration
Responsible for monitoring the Course Catalog and maintaining a master spreadsheet of courses and associated faculty.Â
Assists with data management within university programs/software to support Degree Search, the Academic Catalog, and the Course Catalog.Â
Assists with program handbook review and creation for graduate, post-baccalaureate and select undergraduate programs.
Academic Records and Assessment Support
Gathers all course syllabi and maintains the college syllabus archive for use related to curriculum review, transfer/articulation, and general data needs.Â
Coordinates college program exit surveys, including creation, distribution, providing data to program faculty leads, and request/distribution of survey incentive gift cards.
In collaboration with the college Records Steward, regularly create, manage, or maintain records. Serves as the primary point of contact (i.e. Records Custodian) for records-related practices for the hub. Understand unit business needs related to records. Apply consistent records management practices. Support continuity of records care within the unit. Participate in the semi-annual "Big Shredowski" event.
Online and Global Education Programs Support
Coordinates review of fact sheets for Online programs by program faculty leads, advising coordinators, and other stakeholders on an annual basis.
Tracks compensated course developments to support ASU Online program launches by liaising with hub leadership, program faculty leads, EdPlus university partners, and the college business team to ensure timely completion of course development and disbursement of funds to the faculty developer.
Serves as ad hoc member to the college Global Education Committee. Supports curricular review of faculty-directed study abroad program proposals, including consideration for aspects such as course selection, syllabus development, student eligibility requirements, class scheduling, and review of accepted students for barriers to enrollment.Â

Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of basic university/college curricular policies and procedures.Â
Experience working with university CRM, content management systems, relational databases, and software interfaces such as Salesforce, Kuali Build and CM, DARS, iPOS, PeopleSoft, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Program Architecture Tool.Â
Experience in project management to meet set deadlines.Â
Experience in basic data analysis.Â
Experience in coordinating and prioritizing varied workload and special projects.Â
Experience in work that required great attention to detail.Â
Experience in proofreading print and web publications for grammar, accuracy, and completeness.Â
