Position Overview
The City of Phoenix is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to provide advanced database administration, reporting, and technical support for the Police Department's Premier One Records Management System (RMS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, database security, query optimization, and reporting in a large enterprise environment.
Work Schedule
- Hybrid: 75% Onsite / 25% Remote (after onboarding)
- Local Arizona candidates only
- Must be available for in-person interviews within one week of the posting close date.
- Must be able to start within two weeks of receiving an offer.

- Public Safety or Law Enforcement environment experience
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting environments
- Knowledge of CJIS security standards
Key Responsibilities
- Administer SQL Server permissions and security for SSRS reports
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports
- Gather reporting requirements and validate data accuracy
- Troubleshoot SQL, reporting, and database performance issues
- Ensure compliance with CJIS security requirements and IT governance standards
- Document database changes, permissions, and reporting solutions
- Improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and system integrations
