The role

Job Overview and key accountabilities (agile) As Production Team Leader, you will oversee daily production operations in the plant ensuring production targets are met efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will have a strong background in plastics manufacturing, excellent team leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving and team development. Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members in production. Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality and minimizing downtime. Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance to resolve technical issues promptly. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance productivity and skill development. Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and resolve production challenges. Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing or engineering is a plus. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in injection molding, ideally 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role. Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, and materials. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality control systems. Experience with ERP or production tracking systems is advantageous. Knowledge of mold changeovers, machine parameter optimization, and cycle time reduction. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety. Familiarity with molding and auxiliary equipment such as dryers, chillers, and robots. Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment
