Job description:

The Dispatch Clerk will assist the Logistics department with day-to-day duties and responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, administrative, and analytical skills. Must show initiative and be a team player.

Must be bilingual in Spanish and have a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Dispatch and receive the driver and unit number of the bus on daily company routes.
  • Attention and supervision of operators in order to ensure that the operator is in compliance with the rules and regulations of the US Department of Labor (USDOT) and company policy.
  • Must document, Maintain, and keep record of bus operators daily expenses, driver reports, driver's assignment sheets, pre-trip and post trip sheets and enforce the Pre Trip program. Will have to coordinate the roll of bus operators and units to meet demands.
  • Inspect unit’s pre- trip and program bus operators and units. Work closely with maintenance supervisor on availability of buses and adjustments of bus break downs.
  • Report all accidents and injuries to proper staff. Work closely with all managers and supervisors to ensure that decisions, policies and implementation actions taken will be with company goals.
  • Excel Reports and other reports or tasks designated by Logistics Manager or Director of Operations
