Help make a difference! Lakin Tire is a Liberty Tire Company is North America's largest tire recycler. Lakin Tire is now hiring a Driver Helper to assist in running daily collection routes. We collect and recycle more than 190 million tires into raw materials for smart, useful products that improve people’s lives.

Job Description / Overview:

We are currently seeking Driver Helpers that will help with the daily collection of waste tires. As a Driver Helper, you and your Driver will load and unload tires at different collection sites. This position is responsible for the safe collection of used tires from a customer’s facility and transportation of the tires back to the warehouse facility or drop yard.

Responsibilities:

• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
• Travel to our customer locations and assist in manually loading tires into our trucks
• Work well with others
• Work fast and the ability the follow instructions and safety procedures
• Willingness to work hard in hot, cold, and dirty conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) required

Hourly Pay:

• Starting at $17.25 / hour

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays
• Start times vary between 2-6am daily
• 40 hours per week, + Overtime
