CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, part of CommonSpirit Heath, a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood, Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care, assisted and residential living communities, community health services organizations, home health agencies, and numerous outpatient facilities.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Environmental Services Specialty Technician at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will help our patients, visitors, and staff maintain a clean and safe environment so they can recover, visit, and work with peace of mind.

 

Every day you will perform essential cleaning and sanitation tasks. You will be expected to meticulously clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and specialized spaces, using appropriate techniques and adhering to strict safety protocols.

 

To be successful in this role, you must be thorough, detail-oriented, and committed to safety, with the ability to learn and apply proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials and safely use disinfecting chemicals.

  • Responsible for completing as assigned, performs all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting.
  • Adhere to all organizational safety, risk management and infection control standards while promoting a culture of safety.
  • Cleans and performs routine maintenance on floor equipment; requesting assistance from plant operations and maintenance as needed.
  • Maintains accurate floor care logs and checklists.
