SunSoft Online is hiring a Grant Fiscal Specialist for the Arizona Department of Education's Academic Standards division.

Hard requirements, read before applying:

• Currently living in the Phoenix metro area (Avondale, Glendale, Mesa, Tempe, etc. all count), city on your resume, no relocation candidates
  
• Authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future, W2 only
  
• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, OR 2+ years of relevant financial/budget work
  
• Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills, this is a must
  

The work: supporting budget planning for the department, managing grant money appropriately across programs (working with large budgets, millions of dollars), providing budget updates to internal departments and external sub-grantees, and assisting with procurement tasks including creating POs and invoices.

The facts: $30-36/hr W2 depending on experience · Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 · 100% onsite, downtown Phoenix · 6-month contract starting ~August 31, with stated potential for extension · interviews may be virtual or onsite, candidates must be available for either · HireRight background check and drug screening.
