Arizona is the culmination of new people, cultures, businesses, and sports. For people and businesses, settling into a new environment takes time and effort, let alone sports teams. It can take years, sometimes decades, for fans to get behind a new sports franchise. The Diamondbacks took on this task when we were born into the National League in 1998. However, we were quick to captivate the love and attention of Arizonan’s everywhere. As the quickest expansion team in MLB history to capture the sports highest honor, the World Series, we also captured the memories and love of many fans in an incredibly emotional 2001 championship. These types of memories are what we strive to reproduce each season on the field, and in any other association of our brand. Job Purpose

This position is responsible for the operation and repair of the cooling, heating, ventilation for the facility. As examples, quarterly preventive maintenance orders, filter replacements, checking belt conditions, cleaning condensation pans, lubricating fan and motor bearings, cleaning and brushing off coils and checking for leaks on all valve, strainer etc. Perform numerous service calls on all areas of the engineering department. The result is to assure a comfortable, safe environment for our guests and employees.

Primary (Essential) Duties

Complete work orders in a timely manner.
Perform service calls on a daily basis in various areas
Work closely with manager on new system upgrades and modifications.
Provide assistance to other departments for their maintenance and mechanical needs.
Conduct ongoing inventory control.
Assist other areas in engineering with complex projects.
Ability to read blueprints

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities

Ability to read blueprints
Ability to use necessary equipment, lifts, and knowledge of EPA requirements
Knowledge of general trades

Experience/Education Requirements

Five years knowledge of HVAC maintenance and repair
High School or equivalent

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:

Lift 50 pounds
Climb ladders
Work in extreme temperatures
Multitask
