JOB SUMMARY: 

The Lighting Operations Coordinator collaborates with the sales team and clients to translate show requirements into efficiently deployed lighting solutions. This role requires strong communication skills, experience working with inventory management software, and exceptional attention to detail. The Lighting Operations Coordinator is responsible for communicating all lighting operational and engineering protocols to local lighting teams to ensure successful execution. They will work closely with other internal teams to maintain alignment and drive the overall success of each show.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Vectorworks, Lightwright (or another similar solution/software) • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing, in person, and over the phone so others will understand. • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing, in person, and over the phone. • Ability to work on a team, maintain a positive attitude, and be open to learning. • A wide variety of knowledge in the lighting industry, company gear, and in all aspects of the company • Strong knowledge of loading and unloading trucks

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Must excel in a fast-paced, demanding, and continuously changing environment. • Strong problem-solving skill set, analytical skills, great attention to detail, organized, patient, and tacttful • Lifestyle work ethic – Working long days and weekends when necessary; being available 24/7 to service client needs

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: • Accurately track, manage, and utilize company owned assets • Maintain inventory levels for current and future projects in tandem with the asset coordinator. • Create, facilitate, and communicate detailed paperwork, including, loom lists, rack elevations, DMX node configurations, networking schematics, cable paths, power consumption, truss tapes, addresses, and more, to the Department Heads and show staff for gear prep and execution • Will be working on multiple shows at a time, verifying that all information is correct and organized. • Provide various departments with information and diagrams required to build orders to client specifications. • Ensure field personnel have current equipment lists, diagrams, and other necessary information required to provide world class service to our clients.

  • Stays current on Lighting Technology and advancements in the industry in relation to lighting.
