Description

The Loan Officer Assistant’s primary role is to act as a liaison between the Loan Officer, borrowers, and the operation departments. Assist with ensuring clear communication for a smooth closing transaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Loan Officer as needed (minus any licensed activity)
  • Assist in collecting missing documentation for completion of loan file from borrowers
  • Work with the Processor to collect documentation to clear Loan Officer conditions
  • Update Loan Officer on status of conditions and copy Loan Officer on correspondence and requests for documentation
  • Ordering verification of employment (VOE)
  • Stack file for processing
  • Perform basic office functions include, taking phone calls, scheduling meetings for loan officer, making copies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Freddie Mac (FHLMC), Fannie Mae (FNMA), FHA, and VA
  • Knowledge of principles and theories
  • Two (2) years prior mortgage or mortgage banking experience
  • Ability to deliver effective results and to meet deadlines
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current automotive insurance
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Excellent phone and service skills
  • Timely communication and response times according to department standards

Travel:

  • As needed travel internationally between United States and Mexico to meet business needs.

Language:

  • English preferred, Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) desired.

Compensation:

  • PMG will offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with the background and experience of the applicant
