Marketing Coordinator

Jokake is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic Marketing Coordinator. In the role, you will create

proposals, presentations and other marketing deliverables, both in print and digital platforms. As a key

member of the marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator understands the

Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry, from a Marketing perspective and has a proactive mindset that will help grow Jokake and its corporate services.

The Marketing Coordinator will be relied on to provide marketing design and support, while also managing office marketing efforts. Candidate must be dependable, organized, detail-oriented, flexible, creative, and able to work independently. Additionally, the candidate must have Adobe InDesign experience, have exceptional follow-through, and be a self-starter.

Jokake’s Marketing Coordinator possesses the skills and experience to do the following:

• Work with leadership to design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral
• Lead and multi-task various marketing efforts with a high degree of excellence
• Gain comprehensive understanding of Jokake’s portfolio of work, practice areas, and firmwide capabilities
• Track and report project pursuits and new projects
• Work with internal and external teams on award submittals
• Assist with public relations
• Lead social media strategy and activity
• Track and coordinate photography shoots of completed projects
• Attend client facing events and association events as needed
• Regional travel may be required for industry events, trade shows, conferences, etc.

Jokake’s Marketing Coordinator possesses the following technical skills and competencies:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution
• 2-3 years of experience in the AEC industry or related professional experience, such as designing, writing, and producing business proposals, presentations, and other collateral
• Understanding of the business development proposal process (RFP/RFQ)
• Intermediate Adobe InDesign; skilled in information design and layout
• Experience within the construction industry is preferred but not required
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills and graphic sensibility to create effective presentations and marketing collateral
• Superior writing skills, including ability to craft a story in a compelling manner
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
