The company supports its field teams with practical leadership and emphasizes accountability at every stage of the project lifecycle.
Position Summary
The Mechanical / HVAC Project Manager is responsible for leading HVAC construction projects from planning through completion. This role combines estimating knowledge, field leadership, and financial accountability to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities

Lead HVAC construction projects from pre-construction through closeout

Perform takeoffs, production rate analysis, and job cost planning

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and equipment

Provide day-to-day field leadership and hold teams accountable to productivity and quality standards

Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders

Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and pay applications

Partner with finance to track WIP/POC reporting, costs, and revenue
-
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies

Support project closeout and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
-
5+ years of project management experience in HVAC or mechanical construction

Demonstrated experience in both estimating and field operations

Strong knowledge of production rates, job costing, and WIP/POC accounting

Experience managing crews, subcontractors, and project schedules

Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and construction management software

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification

PMP certification
