WHAT YOU'LL DO AS AN ELP LEADER
You'll receive direct coaching from experienced site leadership while managing real-time operational needs. You'll be expected to:
- Learn and assist in daily custodial operations, including crew scheduling and task delegation.
- Lead small teams and develop confidence in directing day-to-day activities and resolving on-site issues.
- Train alongside Site Supervisors and Managers in performance management, including coaching, recognition, and discipline.
- Participate in and eventually conduct quality inspections, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Help ensure teams follow all OSHA and safety procedures, participating in daily safety stretches and flexes.
- Assist in inventory tracking and distribution of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Serve as a point of contact for crew members, communicating updates, expectations, and feedback.
- Model and promote Verde's culture and "Verde Vibes" through positivity, teamwork, and a client-first mindset.
- Receive and apply ongoing leadership development training to prepare for transition into Site Supervisor or Site Manager roles.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in janitorial or facility services.
- Passion for leadership and career growth in operations or management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency required.
- Comfortable working flexible shifts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a team lead or crew lead capacity.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and custodial best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High school diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and lift.
- Must be able to lift up to 25–50 pounds depending on job site.
- Work is performed in active janitorial and/or construction environments.
