SUMMARY
Responsible for preparing materials and components prior to coating and handling finished products after coating. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role with opportunities to learn and grow within the company.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prep parts and materials to ensure proper coating coverage.
- Load or unload products from the overhead conveyor according to production schedules.
- Handle unpainted parts as a loader and painted parts as an unloader.
- Package finished products as required.
- Follow all safety protocols, including start-up/shut-down procedures.
- Perform basic quality checks on finished and unfinished parts.
- Organize and stage materials before and after coating.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Support the powder coating team as needed.
- Perform assigned tasks in a timely and orderly manner.
- Maintain high quality standard for products being painted.
- Additional duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, and management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with Powder Coat is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic tools.
- Must be able to work successfully in a team environment and/or independently and able to take direction from others. Self-Starter, Team Player.
- Heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), bending, and stooping throughout shift.
- Ability to work while standing for long periods (10-12 hour shifts) with heavy lifting continuously under extreme temperatures.
- Must demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliable attendance
