The Role

As Process Technician, you will play a vital role in optimizing production processes and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the manufacturing processes associated with plastic production. You will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting machinery, adjusting parameters, and performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance. In addition to technical skills, we are looking for an individual who is proactive, open to continu-ous learning, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with other functional departments to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. You will have a keen interest in process optimization and have a solid background in plastics manufacturing.

Location & Hours

This role is based at our site and will involve shift work to support continuous manufacturing. Specific shift patterns will be discussed at interview.

As a Printing Lead you will

  • Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.

  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and increase efficiency.

  • Document process changes, maintenance activities, and production data accurately.

  • Train and mentor new team members on operational procedures and best practices.

  • Set up and start injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and related processes.

  • Perform mold changes and machine setups according to production schedules.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, including part defects and machine malfunctions.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of molds and equipment.

  • Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to implement process improvements.

  • Maintain accurate production and process documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

  • Train and support machine operators on proper molding techniques and procedures.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.

  • Adherence to plant safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures

What you will bring to the role

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in plastics, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in injection molding operations.

  • Strong knowledge of injection molding machines and equipment

  • Familiarity with various plastic resins and their processing characteristics.

  • Experience with scientific molding principles is a plus.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Knowledge of mold setup and maintenance procedures

  • Understanding of quality control standards and inspection techniques

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

  • Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
