Summary The Procurement Assistant supports procurement operation and administrative tasks in sourcing and purchasing of parts, equipment and services for company projects.  The position is an in-office role located at our Phoenix, AZ location.  Position Profile Non-exempt / Full-time Reporting Relationships The Procurement Assistant reports to the Procurement Manager. Major Duties and Responsibilities Support procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing and preparing POs and RFQs. Communicate with vendors on pricing, availability and delivery schedules Maintain vendor database and ensure compliance with company policies Coordinate with accounts for vendor set up, invoices and payments Track shipments, arrange transportation and prepare shipping documents Coordinate with project teams on inspecting goods received, report any discrepancies and maintain accurate records Education Bachelor’s Degree is required Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general Computer literacy (required) Familiarity with ERP system and global business practices (preferred) Strong interpersonal skills (required) Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities (required) Demonstrates adaptability and a positive attitude when handling new tasks. Recently graduate with internship experience is acceptable. Physical Requirements Sedentary Work: Primarily office-based, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer. Keyboarding and Computer Use: Frequent use of a computer for typing, data entry, and using procurement software. Occasional Lifting: May require occasional lifting of office supplies, files, or small equipment (under 15-20 lbs). Walking/Moving Between Offices or Departments: Some walking between departments for meetings or coordination.  Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Talking and Hearing: Frequent communication via phone, email, or in-person interactions with vendors and colleagues.
