Position Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily production operations within a fast-paced automotive remanufacturing environment. This role ensures that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

We are seeking a self-starter who takes initiative, drives accountability, and thrives in a hands-on leadership role. The ideal candidate leads by example, identifies opportunities for improvement, and motivates teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets (e.g., units per day, efficiency goals)
Lead, coach, and develop production employees to ensure high performance and engagement
Monitor and enforce safety procedures and company policies at all times
Ensure product quality standards are consistently met; address defects and implement corrective actions
Track and report production metrics, including productivity, downtime, scrap, and efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Materials, Engineering) to resolve issues
Identify process improvements and implement lean manufacturing practices
Maintain proper staffing levels and assist with scheduling, training, and performance management
Enforce attendance, timekeeping, and workplace policies consistently
Support onboarding and training of new hires to ensure successful integration into production

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing or remanufacturing
Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety practices
Experience in high-volume, fast-paced production environments
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma is a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment & Schedule

Fast-paced production environment
May require standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift
Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, with flexibility for overtime as needed
