S&F Land Services is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to report from our Phoenix, Arizona office. We are looking for an individual with experience preparing proposals and estimates, managing project schedules, timelines and budgets, directing the work of technical staff, performing a variety of land surveying projects and other office-related survey tasks.


Qualifications:

  • Professional Land Surveying license in Arizona required
  • Knowledge of Arizona surveying laws, regulations, and industry standards



Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Manage project schedules, budgets and quality
  • Directing staff
    • Drafting topographic, ALTA, boundary and plat surveys
    • Writing land descriptions for use in deeds, easements, leases, or other legal documents
  • Analyzing and processing field data
  • Record research
  • Review tasks performed by others under technical supervision
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center preferred
  • Possess a strong desire to own projects, solve problems and loves surveying!

The successful candidate would communicate with project teams and/or clients, prep the field work, analyze and adjust the data, and provide oversight and quality-assurance/quality-control of the final deliverables. S&F Land Services is leading the industry in adopting UAS/drone survey and mapping. The successful candidate will incorporate conventional and remote sensing methods into the daily workflow.
